Please be informed this may be another rant post. I think I already turned this online journal into a rant blog haaaaa.
Apparently, August just ended, which means hello ber-months!
I met my High School friends earlier to celebrate M's birthday at Moonleaf and at Classic Savory somewhere in Antipolo. It was fun to see them every once in a while to enjoy our kulitan moments. And being the paparazzi M and S ever were, we also heard some of the latest and prolly the juiciest chismax of the year! Loljk. Chismisan at its best.
Sad to say, ever since we graduated from HS, we rarely hang out with complete members. Then through the years, we got used seeing just the 5 of our faces every time we get together. 'Yan tayo eh, reach out reach out din 'pag may time para kumpleto. But noooooo, little did we know, bridges were already burned.
Communication has always been a two-way process. Once the other party lost connection, you wouldn't be able to reach them. Kahit sa ibabaw ka pa ng Mt. Everest maghanap ng signal, kung ayaw ka nila kausapin, edi wala. :D
So allow me to take this moment and sulk in sadness as I (or we) realized that, well, obviously we lost a friend. Not that it's said verbally, but it's something we've all felt for quite some time. I have to admit my heart sunk deep because we've always been partners in class, copied each other's answers, burned the telephone lines from telebabad nights, shared darkest secrets, and more. I remember the retreat letter you gave to me when we were in 4th year. You placed big and small ribbons on top of the letters which indicate how close you are to the recipient. Mine was a big ribbon. :)
We were close friends. Maybe even best friends if you consider it that way. I don't mind.
Maybe I'm just being silly and overthinking. Baka nagaassume lang pala ako and it's not what I think it is pala. Then again, maybe you're already a ghost of my past. See how many "maybes" I said? I'm that unceratin haha.
But at the end of the day, people still change.Change is the only constant thing in this universe.
Despite all that, I will try my best not to hold any grudges. I still hope one day you will realize we will always be here if you changed your mind.
~
K, I wish you and your baby, if we are not mistaken, well and healthy.

College days. Mcdo days. I miss them so much. Crappy schedule conflicts keep us from having a get-together even just for a day. Kim and Kay in HP, Kat in Capgemini, and me here in CALCMENU. And I'm the only one working in Ortigas while I could've been in Mckinley where they are. Oh! This is my current primary photo in FB too! Photo taken around February-March 2011. I slightly remember the time because my hair was still sleek straight and black back then. I had my hair rebonded a few months earlier when this was shot. Wala lang. Just another nostalgic moment of one of the most memorable highlights of mi college years. Mehehe Vanilla Chakamel. :P Birthday wish: To have a day together. Doesn't need to be an overnight partayyy, a simple lunch date will do. For the record, I'm not really much of an out goer/nomadic/taong gala person because I'm lazy to travel or walk like that hihi. I prefer sitting on a bench in a cooler place and talk, talk, talk. But that really depends on my mood. Okay, weird. Alam ko nababasa niyo 'to so please can we stop all the drawings and blueprints. It's kinda frustrating, you know? HAHAHA. :| </3 Unexpectedly Epic |
Just a short recap of what happened earlier. Perhaps not too short. Oops, I did it again:BOC: So today was my schedule for exam in Bank of Commerce at 830AM. I went together with my mom on the way to Ortigas but I got to SMP later than the scheduled time because of traffic. I filled up the forms and answered the essays around the clock. Three essays to be exact and it was quite easy to answer and I even reached the backside of the paper. Followed by this was a generic IQ test, which I already took during my exam in MISNet a month ago. Everything was going smoothly and easy-breezy for me but when the HR officer came in the room and called my name from the list in her hands, I stood up with confidence knowing I passed the exam. Sadly she told me I didn't make it and we, together with other failed applicants, were sent home afterwards. The news took me by surprise but I guess a huge factor that affected my status were my failing grades in college. I was dismayed but easily moved on with the loss. ST FRANCIS: My next stop was to Mckinley because Kim and I will be applying unscheduled to the companies there. But my stupid cellphone was malfunctioning again and I'm not receiving any texts for a while. In the meantime, I went to St. Francis to check out Hair-to-go Salon but the stall was closed for the moment so I strolled around the mall instead. I didn't know St. Francis is similar to Divisoria, filled with a variety of apparels in the whole area! It's my first time to go there and I'm looking forward to return and go shopping! :D Then Kim called me and she was on her way to Mck already.
Funny story: Since I was a newbie in the place, I got lost and spent time going up and down searching for the exit. =)))
OHMYBEBE: I walked my way from St. Francis to MRT Shaw and found long lines in the fare gates. I waited for a couple of minutes till the guards let us in. Upon reaching Magallanes station, I recognized the pink candy bag and striped blouse this little lady was wearing in front of me. And it was Kay. =))) Her reaction was "OHHMYGAHDBEBE" and we hugged in the middle of the doorway and the people were like, "Move, bitches". HAHAHA. It was funny and we were laughing in the unexpected event as we went down to the shuttle bound to Mck. We had a little time catching things up during the ride. I accompanied her to Two World Square, we parted ways, and I went straight to Mcdo while waiting for Kim. JOBHUNT: And let the flames begin! We ate our lunch first as soon as Kim arrived. Then we headed to CSS Corp but CSR was the only opening. The lady even said "We need at least one experience in the same company." LOLOLOL Jackie Chan moment. -_-" We also submitted our resumes to Logica and Ericsson but the former told us to apply this Saturday for on-the-spot interview and one-day recruitment process. Lastly, there's this company called GFI, who offered us a Networking position in their IT department. I didn't like the idea and was ready to step out the door but Kim said that we should continue. Our first and only exam was English Proofreading test. Then Kim sent me a text saying I should fail the exam on purpose.. and so I did. It was an elementary level test and it's quite embarrassing and awkward to fail. For a 50% passing rate, I got 29% and Kim got 35%. Another funny story: the HR reps were shocked to see our failed results. One of them didn't know how to spill the bad news because they expected us to be fully qualified for the position and failing a very simple test is rather.. out of the box. I heard them murmuring about the matter since they were actually behind me. We wasted time going there and ran off as quickly as they opened the door for us. Lol! Oh and another thing, "burried/berried and diffirintly. Classic. =)))) MINI REUNION: Kim and I stayed at Mcdo again and ordered sundaes for two. The day was sort of a waste because we didn't really apply to the companies as much a we planned. It was more like a reason for us to breathe some fresh air (lol in Mck HAHA) and leave the house for a while. Just when we decided to go home, Kay and Kat sent me messages asking if we're still in Mck. Sooooo it was an instant, epic and unexpected reunion of my beloved GG girls! Not to mention, Matthew phoned me as an HR rep with this soft, female voice that I thought he sounded like a girl. Time flew so quick, the working girls were taking too much break time outside so we had to cut things short. It was brief but really fun. I hope our hangout will be continued this Saturday. :) THE STRANGER: I was already on my way to Market Market when this woman beside me was arguing with the barker that the jeep we were riding should pass Ayala but the latter said no and I really had no idea what happened next but I talked to her, thinking she might have a better idea or even a faster way of getting to Ayala that I came down with her. I was in a mood of exploration too btw. She was nice to me and we were talking about random stranger stuff while waiting for a ride but the sky darkened so she decided to take a taxi ride and wanted me to tag along. I refused, of course, but she insisted because there are ruthless people out there so yeah, I came with her. In short, I got to ride a taxi for free! HAHA. Although she was really nice and portrayed a motherly figure to me so I felt safe. Weird. Fact: It took me like two or three hours to finish this whole entry since I was watching PBB Teens and got really intrigued by one of their final tasks of burning clothes and Myrtle's selfish determination. Plus it's really hard to compress today's details; thus a very very long summarized post. I couldn't make it any shorter.
Now that I'm done, I'm off to hit the sack. I'm also loving my new primary in FB haha! Will be making a separate entry for this one some other time. Goodnight! :) Gravity |
This perfectly describes every girl who desperately wants to move on from her past-- either an ex-lover, infatuation, first love, true love, secret love, forbidden love, love at the wrong time, or its other forms.I was catching up with a friend through FB and guess what. Late night conversations often dig deeper revelations of your heart's desires. And it's past midnight. We started the conversation with simpler things and slowly though predictable, we ended up talking about her past love. A love she felt first for about 10 years that remains hidden up to this very day.. especially to the person involved. The last time we saw each other, I tried helping her make a decision about her problem by card reading. Still an amateur though, it was sort of a practice for me to make my own interpretations of the cards. Overall there was no need for the cards anymore because just by listening to her story already predicts the solution. The cards served as a guide or a confirmation for us. I told her to stop wasting time and let things go. She agreed firmly. As much as possible I was trying to lighten things up during our conversation, not because I was not in the mood to have heart-to-heart talks but I did not want to see her or at least feel like she is going back to stage one after all the progress she has been making. I guess I've learned that sometimes despite all the efforts you have been trying to forget this special someone, something always brings you back to them. Whether a chat like this, a place, a food, a song or a book or basically anything that you will find a connection to them. You then feel vulnerable afterwards but what you do about it will impact what's next. Honestly after I finished reading her reply, I also had a quick flashback-slash-summary of my own story. But I didn't let it get to me because I know it will be a waste of time thinking about things used to haunt my sleepless nights like an insect bite. You feel the urge to scratch the itchiness and once you take notice and give in, it will hurt you more and you scratch more and then you will never stop.. until you fight it. And it's crazy comparing love matters with an insect bite lol. Weird mind, I have. Although I thought the same thing. It will be a major achievement when I get to see this person and poof! No more butterflies in my stomach. Not even a breathtaking moment with this dreamy effect and flowers and birds and awkward eye contact and the world stops and it's just the two of you in the moment and you both lean in and oh, I could go on for more. I want that time where a day will be over without the person crossing my mind. And I'm still working on that, sadly. So we made a bet, if they meet this year's Christmas and she feels completely fine, meaning she has moved on, then I will treat her something. Otherwise, she gets mesmerized by him and she will treat me instead. Hohoho. :> BG music while writing this entry: Gravity - Sara Bareilles. Para feel na feel ko 'yung emosyon. Hahaha! May 18, 2012Route: Rizal>Shaw>Magallanes>Mckinley Hill>BGC>Paranaque>Magallanes>Shaw>Rizal East to South and back. Srlsy it was a super Pagoda day. The Happening: Yesterday was our schedule for an exam in HP. I woke up around 5am and left the house at 7:30. After 2 hours of travel, I got to Magallanes station via MRT and there, I waited for Kay who will be taking the exam too. We rode fx at the terminal bound to Mckinley nearby the station. 20-30 minutes more, hello Mckinley! Hello Taguig! @.@ Nalampasan pa nga namin yung bldg ng HP but since I have a good sense of direction, we got there on time in a place I've never been to. ;) Then we had two exams to be qualified for the interview: Communications and Technical exams both in 60 items. Not to brag, but both exams were quite simple and familiar and really similar to our UST-Eleap. Stock knowledge and general ideas were the only things you should know in order to pass. I actually suck at the technical part since it was basic troubleshooting, stuff like MS applications and programs, and some other technical jargon in which I'm not really good at. Thank God we passed the first part of the pre-employment process. :) We ate at Mcdo after the exam then Kat went to fetch us with her mom and sister.. and we ate again at Little Asia in Venice Piazza. (treated by her mom of course, hehe).
For the final destination (lol that sounds weird), we headed to Kat's place after a series of pamimilit to her. =))) After sunset, we parted ways. Kay and I rode jeep to Magallanes station. Good thing I also have a gift of photographic memory because it's been two years since the last time I went to Kat's and I don't remember anything from then that much. Ang naalala ko lang ay yung ichura nung lugar ng pinagbinabaan ko galing jeep. I got home like 9pm and without washing my face and brushing my teeth, I went straight to bed and woke up the next morning. I didn't eat dinner too. It was a fun-filled day although exhausting! Looking forward to more GG dates that aren't planned because that's when things push through and just go with the flow in chill vibes. Lord, thank You for this day. :)
